It’s not surprising that kids will regularly smoke weed considering almost everyone goes through some shape of curious/experimental phase in their lives. Some of them will smoke more often than others, and it is pretty common to believe that there is a higher percentage of recreational use among teenagers than their parents. Recent federal data shows otherwise where 8% of adults aged 35-44 used marijuana regularly compared to 7.4% of teenagers aged 12-17.
Now that I think of it, I shouldn’t be surprised at all considering how stressful people’s work and personal lives can especially when you have a family to care for. There’s nothing like just sitting back, smoking some of your favorite bud, and relaxing at the end of the day to unwind. Read more about this statistic at The Washington Post
